UMF
The Unique Manuka Factor (UMF) is one of the most widely used grading systems for manuka honey internationally and includes methylglyoxal (MGO), which is taken into account for further grading.

- Methylglyoxal (MGO)
- Leptosperin: As a chemical unique to manuka, the presence of this ingredient is a guarantee that the Manuka Cool is genuine.
- Dihydroxyacetone (DHA): DHA has no antimicrobial properties on its own, but over time it reacts with other chemicals to turn into MGO, so measuring DHA is a good indicator of potential MGO in manuka honey. Manuka honey gets better with age.

UMF is a measure of the antibacterial effectiveness of manuka honey compared to a solution of phenol, a disinfectant, and is expressed in values of 10+, 15+, 20+, and 25+.

Directions
Take on an empty stomach or add to warm water and stir until completely dissolved.
Can be taken with bread, cheese, and yoghurt.
